Shimla, Kufri and Manali Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Drive to Shimla

Upon arrival at the Delhi airport/railway station, you will be greeted by a tour representative who will arrange your cab transfer to Shimla. Enjoy the mesmerizing road trip to Shimla as you drive through the picturesque hills and valleys. As you arrive at Shimla, check into the hotel and freshen up for outings that come up later in the day. Visit the Viceregal Lodge, Sankat Mochan Temple, and Jakhu Temple. Wander through the Mall Road during the dusk. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 2

Kufri Day

The small hill station of Kufri appears as the first place of visit in your itinerary, post an appetizing breakfast. Followed up, is a trip to Himalayan Wildlife Zoo, Jakhu Temple, Christ Church, Gaiety Theatre, Scandal Point, and Tibetan Market. The evening is reserved for you to roam around the Mall Road. Come back to the hotel, for a flavorsome dinner, after which you can end the day with cozy overnight sleep.

Day 3

Transfer to Manali

Indulge in a hearty breakfast at Shimla, and then head for Manali. Pay en-route visit to Kullu Pandoh Dam, Sundar Nagar Lake, Hanogi Mata Temple, Kullu Vaishno Devi Temple, Kullu Rafting Point. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 4

Sightseeing in Manali

Post a toothsome morning meal at the hotel and head out for a full-day excursion in Manali. Proceed for sightseeing to places such as Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashisht Village and Temple, Vashist hot water springs, Van Vihar, Manali Market, The Mall, and Tibetan monastery. Shop at the IBEX market and local shops on the Mall road. Later, come back to the hotel and savor a delectable dinner before ending the day.

Day 5

Trip to Solang Valley

After breakfast at the hotel, head for some amusing adventures at Solang Valley. Proceed for various adventure sports like skiing, horse riding, yak riding, and snow scooter riding. In the evening pay a visit to Hadimba Devi Temple and explore the local shops around Mall road. Later come back to your hotel, and gorge on a scrumptious dinner post which you can retire for the night.

Day 6

Transfer to Dharamshala

Savour a toothsome Pahari meal in Manali and checkout from the hotel to Dharamshala. Revel in the fresh ambience while travelling through the scenic roadside views of Manali to Dharamshala. Upon arrival in Dharamshala, check into the hotel, relish in a piping-hot dinner and then enjoy your comfy overnight stay

Day 7

Dalhousie awaits your arrival

Wake up to an appetizing meal as various adventures are planned for this day. Proceed with a local sightseeing tour in Dharamshala including places such as St. John Church, Mcleodganj Market, Dalai Lama Temple, Bhagsunath Temple, and Waterfalls. Following this is a scenic road trip to Dalhousie. After the completion of check-in formalities at the hotel in Dalhousie, gorge on a delectable meal before ending the day.

Day 8

Drive to Khajjiar and Chamba

After a hearty meal at the hotel, proceed to Chamba and Khajjiar. Surrounded by a verdant cover of pine and deodar forests, Khajjiar is called the Switzerland of India. You can also indulge in zorbing and paragliding here. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 9

Welcome to Amritsar

Post a delectable morning meal at Dalhousie, checkout from the hotel and get ready to drive all the way to Amritsar. Visit the famous wagah border in the evening and enjoy the retreat and flag-lowering ceremony carried out on both sides along with a flag exchange practice. Overnight stay at hotel in Amritsar.

Day 10

Sightseeing in Amritsar

Relish an appetizing morning meal, and head to marvel at one of the most important religious and tourist destination of Amritsar-Golden Temple. Seek blessings from the Harmandir Sahib and the holy tank-Sarovar. Later this trip then takes you to a historical relic of the 1919 Baisakhi Massacre- Jallianwala Bagh. After a sightseeing tour in Amritsar, drive back to Shimla, check into the hotel and retire for the night.

Day 11

Last day of the tour

Wake up to a scrumptious meal, post which you would be heading towards Delhi. Enjoy a sightseeing tour in Delhi with visits to major tourist destinations like Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Humayun Tomb, Qutub Minar, India Gate, and various others. Later, transfer to airport/railway station and board flight/train home.

29 – 14 days prior to travel- 75% of the total package cost per person per trip.
