Varkala and Varkala Beach Tour Overview

Upon arrival at the Trivandrum Airport / Railway station, our representative will meet and greet you and take you by road to Varkala (1 Hrs Drive), on arrival check-in into hotel. Enjoy the evening watching a spectacular sunset or swimming at the attractive Varkala Beach. Overnight at the hotel. On the next day after breakfast proceeds for sightseeing to the Janardhanaswamy Temple, the Papanasam Beach, The Kappil Beach, Sree Narayana Guru Samadhi. On the next day after breakfast check out from the Hotel and drive to Trivandrum Airport/railway station (depend on your departure place) for your return journey.

Varkala is the perfect place for a holiday getaway to enjoy golden beaches and is also rich in history. Places to visit: The Janardhanaswamy Temple, also known as Varkala Temple is a temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu built 20 centuries ago. The significant feature of the temple is the huge old bell which is considered an oblation to the temple. Timings are from 4 am to 12 pm and from 5 pm to 8 pm. The entry is free. Papanasam Beach, also known as Varkala Beach, is one of the best beaches in Kerala because of the view it offers from the clifftop. Like its name suggests, its water has medicinal properties and is believed to wash off one's impurities and sins. The Samadhi situated within the premises of the beach is the resting place of the great philosopher, Sree Narayana Guru and attracts many devotees. The Kappil Beach, a little away from Varkala, is a beach-backwater destination. The road splitting the two water bodies [west is the majestic Arabian sea and to the east is the calm and serene backwaters]; the backwater and the Arabian Sea, is a treat to the eye.

  • Up to 40 days before travel – service charge of INR 950/- person per trip.
  • 39 -30 days prior to travel -50% of the total package cost per person per trip.
  • 29 – 14 days prior to travel- 75% of the total package cost per person per trip.
  • Within 14 days travel date /no show, no refund.
